Jan 16, 2021     Finished Landing Light mount drilling - (6 hours)       Category: Wings
Finished drilling landing light mount.

I messed with it, took it apart, put it back together, marked it, took it apart again to check it's position.

Built a rib hook (slides between rib and skin, pic "Left Wing Lights rib tools") to try to pull the plate further forward. Still no fix. Grabbed the plate through the light hole and pull it far enough forward to line it up nearly completely to the centerline, drew it to check it again (again took apart to look, then back together) and drilled the line. Looks good.

Drilled plate flange-to-rib#7 with the angle drill adapter.

Created rib feeler tool to gauge where edge of rib is and aid to center of flange. (pic "Left Wing Lights mount drilled and clecoed")

Updrilled all light kit plate and rib to A4.
